Holocaust and Genocide (dual credit course - Stockton University)

- This is an elective course entitled, “Holocaust and Genocide Studies.” In this course, we will cover many interesting and controversial topics including: human nature; different types of governments; civil rights; genocide; hate crimes; with an emphasis on the Holocaust. We will also be discussing and analyzing current event topics that are in the news today.

 

African American History (dual credit course - Stockton University)                                     

 -African American history is an elective semester (half year) course.  It examines the origins of African culture and the assimilation and impact of African American culture in America.  The course provides insights into the roots of prejudice and discrimination, while also highlighting the civil rights movement and the successes of African Americans in overcoming obstacles.  It explores the many contributions of Black Americans and African American culture to our progress as a nation.

 

C.P. U.S. History I -

-  This is a College Prep U.S. History I class. In this class, we will cover the time periods of the early civilizations and colonization of the Americas through Reconstruction and Urbanization. We will also cover a variety of current events.
