Welcome to Culinary Class!
We have an exciting semester ahead! I am very excited to welcome you all back into the brand new kitchen! We have a lot of recipes and skills to learn. We are going to begin this class with review and exploration and then dive right into our first recipe. Serve Safe and Sanitation is always important, as you progress through culinary classes you will expand on that knowledge. I can't wait to meet the new faces and see those again who explored the kitchen last year/semester!
Culinary 1 unit 1- main focus is nutrition, food safety and intro to baking. Don't worry we will be cooking food too!
Culinary 3 unit 1- main focus is review on safety and beginning our exploration of professional careers and foods around the world.
Students can find all assignments posted to google classroom. We will be using this along with classtime to keep up with work. It can be used as a reference all year long.
Each student is required to join the class remind group where I will be sending out information based on their assignments.
