Generally students are graded on effort, participation, and skill.  At this level it is imperative that students learn to follow directions and gain a concept of the art elements and how they are used to create interesting artwork.  It is not my intention that students walk out of the ART room with perfected eye/hand coordination.  Instead, we are striving toward a landscape where children can express themselves freely.
